I entered the Benjamin Moore HUE Awards this year which is a nation wide competition...and I did not place. I was fortunate one year to be a finalist which was an honor considering the firms I am competing against. Below is an exerpt from The Examiner.
"The Benjamin Moore HUE Awards recognize the exceptional use of color in architecture and interior design. We're looking for visionaries...vanguards...virtuosos. And we've assembled a prestigious panel of design, fashion, and industry professionals to help us find them.
For the first time ever, an interior design company takes the prize. New York City based Diamond Baratta Design is the well deserved recipient of the Benjamin Moore HUE Lifetime Achievement Award for its wonderful use of color. Judges of the "HUEYs" have stepped out of the box by presenting the award to Baratta Design, an award that has consistently gone to architects.
William Diamond and Anthony Baratta will be presented the award at the Museum of Arts & Design on May 5, 2010. To learn more about the HUE Awards and other recipients, visit Benjamin Moore's website here."
