Comfort
This is a question that I continually visit ...what is important to me?

We received a Christmas card (thanks, Rob) that I absolutely loved ...it said "The ornament of a house is the friends who frequent it." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
So true! We can create these beautiful homes and without friends and family to frequent them they are mere shells of grandeur.
Using a home is what makes it a home and not just a show piece. People need comfort in order to feel at home.
Comfort is the word that keeps coming into my client interviews. From my client's teenage daughter's room to the family's gathering place (pictured above) they want comfortable fabrics, comfortable seating, comfortable carpeting, comfortable lighting and so on. As we continue to stay in and stay home we want a soft spot to land.
People want comfy cushy fabrics, cozy chairs, snug, gratifying environments that satisfy our need for security while alleviating the stresses of the outside world.
Give yourself a comfy home this year...create a nook or corner that you can curl up into and read or listen to music and relax. Your health will benefit from a soft spot to land.
