Diane Keaton enters the house wares market

Elle Decor is spreading the news: Diane Keaton has entered the home decor market see article below.

She is one of Hollywood’s most beloved and enduring stars. But like the men’s fedoras she favors, Diane Keaton’s onscreen persona is just one of the many hats this native Angeleno wears. Photographer, architectural preservationist, author of a book on Spanish colonial houses, and late-blooming mother (she started her family 15 years ago at age 50), Keaton simultaneously pursues all of her passions with intelligence and quirky good humor.

This decorating buff recently launched her own housewares line, K by Keaton, at Bed Bath & Beyond, mixing menswear fabrics with Americana-inspired pottery and a generous dose of fun (canapé plates are emblazoned with words like yum and eat). “I tried to make it breezy, light, and playful,” Keaton says. “Why is everything so sacred?”
