I had the great pleasure of seeing the final projects of the graduating class of interior designers at the Art Institute of Portland last night. Michelle Phan did her internship with me and was a valuable asset to my business! As you can see by her class project she is a forward thinker! Springbox is the name of her healthy fast food restaurant housed in shipping containers. This takes food carts to a whole new level! Michelle's menu consists of healthy non-fried spring rolls. She designed three containers: One to cook and serve food in, the top one to house the office and employee lounge and she used an adjoining container with a door on a hydraulic lift that creates outdoor seating. Her tables even extend if the weather is cooperative.
There were many wonderful and creative ideas, however I am partial to this extremely creative student and soon to be successful designer Michelle Phan...that's a name to watch!
